After his fight with Toure, Sollied kicked him out of the team and he must start searching for a club. Someone had to stop that little punk. What do you think about him?

There is still a possibility that he will stay at Olympiakos. He officially apologized.

he keeps scoring goals so its in the clubs best interest to keep him.

He used to behave like a real punk in the past, but this season his behavior is improved a lot. Everything sees this change. Probably someone talked to him. That's the reason Olympiakos' coach Sollied counts more on him now.

He is 22 now. He is soon going to decide which nationality he will take (Uruguayan, Mexican or Greek).

thats weird.i think he should be either mexican or greek.

if he decides to be mexican its ok cause he was born in mexico.

if he decides to be greek its also ok because he developed footbally wise in greece

but if he decides for uruguay it would make no sense.he has family from uruguay but he neither lives nor was born there nor has played there.

PAO_HELLAS

I am not sure if he has already 10 years here to take the nationality but I think he can still play for the NT if he obtains a Greek passport. However I prefer he plays for Mexico. We must promote our own talents.

true but you have to recognize that alot of mexicans dont want him because he has rejected the mexican antional team because he wants to play for greece, and that takes balls to reject that offer.

also i understand you wanting to develop talents fromm your own nationality but even thouhg he is mexican he has only playe dfootbal in greece and pretty much he is what he is today because of the development he got in greece

Castillo is a very good player and he would no doubt be a great help for Greece during qualifyers if he joined Greece but it's probley best if he played for Mexico or Uruguay. Howevor I do respect him as a very good player as well :)

Chelsea and Bolton are going to send scouts at the Olympiakos-Roma game for the CL. They most probably want to see Castillo.

yeah i've been hearing a lot about chelsea wanting him. It'd be nice for him to move there, probably gain more expirence. Its a shame he isnt part of a national team.

While talking for the Uruguayan media Castillo said that HFF offered him one million euros to play for the national team of Greece. This has to be a bluff. It looks like Castillo tries to make the Uruguayan football federation redeem him.

He will definetly not play for Mexico if he is naturalized, Hugo Sanchez hates naturalized players! :mad2:

I personally do not want Castillo on the Greek NT as I believe we should be able to produce our own talents but since he can speack Greek fluently, has a Greek fiance, and will be getting his citizenship soon I don't think it would be too bad if he does join the Greek NT.

Well he said that he will leave to play for a Mexican Soccer team next season we will have to wait and see what this guy does!!!!Actually he has been rejecting many offers from Mexican clubs and judging by his mentality he would rather play for a big club and become a famouse star in Europe than to play in Mexico no offence.

Panathinaikos2

hes not nearly good enough to play with any major club. Why becuase he plays for a Greek club and learned most of his football skill in Greece  ? We all know how bias you are towards Greece. Castillo has been a very good player in the Uefa Champions League so far and there are many rumours that Chealsea are scouting him. Castillo can definantly play for a much bigger club if he wanted to.

Didin't Chivas try to get Castillo last season?Tigers also offered him twice the amount Olympiakos is paying him right now but he rejected the offer and extended his contract with Olympiakos for 5 more years. I doubt he is going to be playing in Mexico any time soon.

As I said Greeks are split on this issue. They are many things who want Castillo in the NT and they are many others who want only Greek by blood players in the NT. However if Castillo makes the appropriate moves he will become an NT member indepedently from that.
