Pires tries to do a Cruyff

During yesterdays game with Man City Rbert pires went up to take his second penalty of the match to make it 2-0. He runs up, stops, and swings at the ball, unfortunately swiping it with his studs, much to the bemusement of henry, who he was conducting the move with, and just about everyone else on the pitch, and to the amusement of everyone else. :D :lol:

What was funny was Henry's interview on MOTD afterwards, he couldn't stop hiself from creasing up. Pires will find it hard to live this down!

that was one of the saddest things i have ever seen,Pires made a total ass of himself and it almost cost them 2 points, Henry said something about Pires' leg going numb :rolleyes:. o ya it was also fuvkin hillarious :lol: thats Arsenal for ya

I'm not sure what you mean by this comment. Are you saying that if Henry was in his form as a year ago he would have been able to put it home, or are you saying that Pires has lost some confidence that he had a year ago? If you are saying the Henry thing, it wasn't really his fault... I mean did you see it? Pires touched the ball, but it didn't move and he didn't get out of the way. The ref thought Pires touched it twice so he called a foul.

No I mean by Arsenal's luck and or self belief. We would of done that right last season or the season before.
