i saw him play in the FIFA U17 WC and he was great.
i think he would be a good signing and with a couple years he could find himself getting first team opportunities.

from the looks of it, he will be signing with FC arsenal.
he has been training with the squat for 2 days now, and is in close communication with club officials.
good for him!
if arsenal sign this kid, along with ballack, theyd be a force to reckong with. granted they can sign henry back.
go gunners!

apparently, they just wanted to have a more in-depth look at him.
arsene wenger said that they cant sign him unless he's 18, leaving him 1 more year.
and that he doesnt see them signing him "anytime soon"
im guessing maybe carlos vela will look to see what spain or italy leagues offer him.

Fabregas, Quincey is pretty skilfull, a bit like Robinho and I know that Arturo Lupoli is scoring goals for fun in the reserves.

I am a Cesc fan as well. He has talent and potential.
It is about time Arsenal began to line up a few successors to Henry and Bergkamp.

Sounds like this one is getting closer to completion, though the 16 year old might get sent elsewhere (Spain?) to mature for two season on loan after Arsenal does sign him. I'm hoping they do land him - getting talent at a younger age is probably going to remain key for Arsenal in remaining competative against the monies of Chelsea for the near future.

Arsenal are set to sign him for 2mil.
He is only able to get an english work permiet at the age of eighteen so he will play for Valencia in the meantime for one year.

Arsenal sign Mexican starlet Vela
(http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=348781&cc=5901)
Mexican outfit Guadalajara have confirmed young striker Carlos Vela has agreed a move to Arsenal.
The 16-year-old has yet to make his professional debut with Guadalajara but caught the eye of the Premiership side after his five goals in six matches helped Mexico win the Under-17 World Cup in Peru.
Vela's father Enrique yesterday told the Mexican media his son was set to move to England, and Guadalajara have now confirmed the deal.
'It's official that Carlos Vela, the under-17 world champion, now belongs to Arsenal,'' said a statement on the club's website.
Vice-president Nestor De La Torre continued: 'We made three changes to his contract, all of which were accepted by Arsenal.
'I asked them what sporting project they had in mind for Carlos and they told me that they were planning to loan him out to another team in order to develop before playing in the Premiership.
'The sporting rights of Vela will go to Arsenal for five years. If Arsenal decided to sell Carlos the first option would go to Chivas (Guadalajara).''
Vela will follow in the footsteps of leading international goalscorer Jared Borgetti, the first Mexican to play in England's Premiership, who joined Bolton earlier this year.

Mexican side Chivas of Guadalajara have confirmed that teenager Carlos Vela is on his way to Arsenal.
The 16-year-old starred for Mexico in the World Under-17 Championship in Peru and was tipped to move to North London. Arsene Wenger has a track record of finding young talent from abroad and he is again looking for a talented youngster to add to his squad.
The young striker has already said he is keen to move to Europe and his club side have now confirmed that the move is on.
"It is true, structurally the contract has been established, but we have not yet signed it because there are still some legal points that have to be cleared up," said Chivas vice-president Nestor de la Torre.
Vela will sign a five-year deal with The Gunners, with Chivas holding an option to buy him back should his move not work out.
De la Torre says that Arsenal will look to loan the youngster out before fielding him in The Premiership.
"They have various countries as an option," added de la Torre.
"They will find a team where Vela will continue his development in order to then integrate himself in the Premier League." Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia had all been monitoring Vela's situation but Arsenal have jumped in at the head of the queue to seal the deal for the youngster.

Arsenal are really getting some talented youngsters, assuming they keep all of them, they should be fine in the years ahead.
