I am doubting this too, If you mean he is gonna dominate by beating players and setting his team mates up, then possibly, but in a goal scoring sense, i really doubt it. IMO i would much rather see guti start instead until robinho gets stronger, with ronnie out, we need to be more creative in the midfield, plus guti is in very good form.

No way Robinho could do ronnie's job, only a few players could even come near him. Our best hope is baptista as he is the same build. He is really powerful and would cause havoc in the opposition defence. How many players can fairly knock baptista off the ball? so far he has being doing all the knocking. :ronaldo:

LOL true, so much hope after his debut and now he just seems more and more denilson everyday. Maybe being at real will help him change. We do have great strikers so he could learn a thing or 2. If he gets stronger and starts finishing, then maybe he will live up to his potenial.

But he has the quality to do well there. He is a good finisher, powerful and has a powerful shot. He isnt slow either. Right now we need a presence upfront, and baptista fits that mould.

Yea but look at the players we were missing. We lost baptista, ronnie is out for a while and zidane is just trying to find his feet again. Lyon werent convincing either tonight. Valencia are next, plus remember how lyon barely beat rosenborg? where as we hammered them. Wait till Lyon come, when they beat us we were in bad form, but it is different now.

P.S November is gonna be decisive for us. We got Barcelona and Lyon both at home. Hope ronnie is back by then. We got Barca on 20th, and we got Lyon on 23rd.
