It says his left ankle is the problem. Partial breakage of some ligament. He will have to stay off his left foot for 15 days and it will take 1 month for total recovery

It also mentions Salgado, his thigh injury means he's out for 10 days

We got Zidane the magician, Raul - He is very good nowadays, very good, Becks performce very well, guti - Gr8 passes, and Robi - he'll do his job ;) defence haven't faced a failure for several games, I think we have all chances ;)

Yeah I just read it in RealMadrid.com, and no it isn't necessarily 1 month, in the interview with Zidane they even asked if he could play tommorow and Zidane said hopefully but probably not, this shows that 1 month is out of the question.

Second of all someone said "Robinho will save us" but isn't he on that fitness and diet thing to gain weight for a few days? ]

Thirdly, Zidane in his interview said that he will not be able to play 60 out of 70 games for example because he isn't in his youth like before as we all know. And he also said he feels a pain in his pubis and Salgado is also injured etc... :faint2:

so therefore Zidane, Ronaldo, Salgado, Robinho are all players that we will have to stop counting on to save us everytime. :sad:

it couldnt have come at a worse time than this, the team was getting its rhythm back winning every game playing really well and ronaldo was in great form, now a month's gap is 2 long, i hope they manage 2 do without him..some really tough games ahead....

Remember what happened last time he got injured? we lost all the trophies. We were top, 10 points clear but ended up 4th, lost in the CL and lost the copa del rey final. The only thing we can hope is that we have learned not to be too relient on ronnie, or we are doomed, unless someone shows their true form. I think we can handle it this time because we have more depth, when ronnie got injured back then, we had to play guti upfront, so now we will see if our depth can help us survive without ronnie.
