It seems that you have no memories about that the first match in 2001 was played in Australia. I remember that the guys in the airport didn't allow the uruguayan players to enter the country wearing their shoes. They had them to go bare foot and sanitize their shoes due to a possible infection as if the south american earth is not worthy enough to get into Australia.

And the only thing that happened in Montevideo was that a bunch of idiots (no more than 20) made a lot of noise in the airport. The aussies sent their tallest guy to the bus and nothing happened. Then the whole team went into the bus with no problem. There were a lot of noise, a lot of insults (on both sides) and nothing else. No rocks nor dogs nor anything dramatic.
They stayed at the Sheraton, which is next to a big shopping mall, and I myself with my very eyes was able to see the australian national football team shopping around, very relaxed and not concerned at all about their security.

This is the world cup. This is not a friendly match. Of course there's pressure! It should be so! It's the world cup, for god sake!

And obviously, and I don't blame you for that, but if you live in a country where there are 3 sports with more popularity than football, then it's easy to think that pressure means hostility. If you were used to play for important things you would realize you're wrong.

And finally calling us "cavemen" allows us to call all you "criminals" just because Australia was a big jail at the beggining. It's a stupid generalization, but you started man.
