i think van der meyde was the one who played for inter. I thought he was good, but van der vaart is better. I expect him to challange for World Player of Year at some point in the future

Van der Vaart is absolute class. He floundered a bit at Ajax towards the end but he is relishing his new role as a supporting role behind the strikers. This guy has it all, excellent shot, vision and freekicks. He was always better than Robben and those guys and hes starting to regain that form. To think Hamburg only paid 6.5million for him....

Van Der Vaart is better than Meyde and is an underrated phenom player. This guy will surely leave for a bigger club next summer if not January. He had some low times though because of some injury I think now he has coem abck to the seen.

I hope my club gets him before you guys. :D

hell no now that is stupid wishing, there is no space for Van der Vart at real, he is great, but real got no space for him, he is doing great at Hamburg and fitting in nicely

yeah he has stettled quickly there so he must fit in, be enjoying himself and like the place to be producing near his best in a different position.
(played as CM/AM at Ajax is now a AM/CF so he is far more attackive)

to think hamburg got him & for what under 6m that has to be a great signing
after WC clubs should come knocking on his door

i think he would play better at Juve personally. The way i see it, he would be the only player to play as an offensive midfielder that can go up in attack. Kinda like KaKa, whereas at Barca, they have too many players of that sort: Ronaldinho, Deco, Guily, Messi, etc.

Exactly.

There is a reason why Barcelona sold Riquelme(Villarreal+Argentina) and Luis Garcia(Liverpool+Spain). It was because Deco, Ronaldinho, Guily and Messi etc... as he said are solid enough.

Bringing Van Der Vaart will be a mistake, Barca just changed their style of team from Dutch to Brazillian a long time ago so I don't think he would join unless Rijkaard thinks he can replace Van Bommel.

Yeah i remember that now, they absolutely hate each other. When Zlatan moved to Juve he tackled Rafael in a friendly game and injured him and Rafael told the media of the tension between them and how he did it on purpose.

yeah, thats all coming back even few weeks before Zlatan left there was constant fighting and i think only one was on hte pitch at the same time. (i recall seeing Zlatan on the bench more often, most likely due to his upcoming transfer)

Giuly is good but Messi will take his place pretty soon.

Barca dont need Van Der Vaart just yet, Deco and co arent old and are doing well, Van Bommel doesnt even start there itd be tough for him.

Van der Vaart wouldnt suit us. Thatd mean playing with 3 midfielders, meaning the Vieira/Emerson partnership will be broken up. One dutchman i do really like though is Wes Sneijder, id like him.

i think rikjaard should use Messi sporadically this season as he is still young & aviod undue pressure & burnout. Guily is doing a good job. they have definitely found a winner in Lionel.
I like Sniejder ! he was unbelievable when he debuted in the CL with ajax-explosive. I could understand why koeman wasnt using him as a starter. A few games ago he get in the Orange & lighted up the match & scored a great goal. he needs a solid season with ajax & all the top clubs will take up notice
