Who should be Captain?

Adams or Beckham? That is the choice Eriksson will have to make. personally i think it should be becks for simply one reason, Adams should not be in the squad. With young central defenders like Brown, Ferdinand, and Woodgate along with england regulars Sol Campbell and Martin Keown i don't think there should be a spot for adams. especially now that brown, ferdinand and woodgate are all about to get european expeirience when the champions league opens up again. i believe that these players, if given the opurtunity to gain expierience, can give england a great defense for the next world cup. i also would like to add that i believe jamie redknapp should be the captain if he could get healthy. with him and gerrard in the centre midlield and beckham and macca on the wings england's midfield would be fantastic.

I agree with you on this one. Adams should not be in the squad, not because he's crap, but because he's too old. Do you mean you would leave scholes on the bench? I do like Redknapp though....
I dont think Macca should ever be allowed to put on an England shirt, as I think he's useless.
I have an idea, if England played a 3-5-2, they could have Ferdinand, Brown and Campbell in the centre. Gerrard, Scholes and Redknapp in the middle. Becks and Dyer on the wings. Heskey and Owen up front.
You see, the F.A should have offered me the England job in the first place. ;)

holy shit neo that is what i have been saying for aobut 3 months now. i think england should play with this formation.

barry..........................................dyer

.........................campbell
.........................robinson
i put becks in the middle because jamis is still hurt. plus with dyer and barry on the wings this gives england's back 3 a little more help since they have both been defenders in the past. if redknapp was healthy i would put him in the middle and put becks out on the wing. but i do not think that macca is useless. i have been watching him at madrid and he plays in a withdrawn left wing position (like barry is above) and he looks fantastic there. if he is in form i would really consider him on the wing, especially late in a match if england need a goal.
