maybe you havent heard but he is looking to extend his contract at Real Madrid.. plus the fact Real Madrid likes him for the money..AND he has been doing wonderfully for the team as of late..so why would he come to the mls?..i see no reason why he would want to...

If you read ESPN magazine, in the August 15 interview with him he seemed like he open to the idea of playing in the States. Dunno if he was just kidding around though.

He has said more than once that he would be open to the idea of ending his career in the MLS, but that won't be for awhile yet. As Havok pointed out, there is talk of a contract extension. He is still a marketing draw for Real, in addition to the fact that he's one of the most in-form players on the squad. He was MoM against Olympiakos.

If Beckham did end up playing in the MLS, it probably wouldn't be until he was about 34 or 35 years old, with little left to offer on the pitch. So, like many of the European "name" players that the MLS has brought in so far, he would mainly be a marketing draw rather than a real performer.

it is not looks like it but it's for sure that he'll extend his contract, after this season it expires, but even before the end, executives of real had already offered another contract, and becks was happy to renew it. As he stated, it is the best moments in his life, he ois very happy in madrid
