A better question would be why didn't you post in the "Champions League" instead of flooding the forums like you always do?

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo says there will be no room for error when his side hosts Olympiakos in their Champions League match on Wednesday (Thursday morning AEST).

"This game will be like a final for us," the Brazilian told a news conference after training overnight. "It doesn't matter if we play well or badly, we just have to win."

Real got off to a dreadful start in its bid for a 10th European Cup when it slumped to a 3-0 defeat away to Olympique Lyon in its opening match two weeks ago and now bring up the rear in Group F.

But a 3-1 Primera Liga victory at home to Athletic Bilbao last Thursday and a 3-0 win away to Alaves at the weekend have helped ease the tension and Luxemburgo says he is now looking to the fans to get behind the team.

"I've got confidence in this team and I know that we are on the up," said Luxemburgo. "We have made some important changes in terms of tactics and players. We are going better in the league and now we've got a vital game in the Champions League."

"We have to approach it with a winning mentality and make sure we are on top form. The fans also have to give us their support from the start because it will be vital to create an atmosphere of pressure at the Bernabeu."

Opponents Olympiakos have got off to a flying start in the Greek championship, but also slumped to a home defeat in their opening Champions League game, losing 3-1 to Norwegian side Rosenborg Trondheim.

But Luxemburgo said there was no danger of his side underestimating their rivals and singled out former Barcelona player Rivaldo as a major threat.

"We certainly aren't overconfident," he said. "We want to play well, but at the same time we have a lot of respect for our opponents. They are doing well in their league and have got some very experienced players.

we have been brilliant, all our players have been great. The only thing i can critise us about is our finishing from players like robinho and baptista. Expect more goals in the second half.

Gr8 1st half performance by Madrid, they r totally in command, everybody played good, it make look like Baptista didn't do his best, but it's not, he was good too, a lil slow though, but he had his chances, Raul, he is very good. It is bad that Zizou isn't on a pitch

again robinho had a waste full game, really he has to improve. His party tricks are great when we are winning, but he disappears when we arent winning. he really needs to finish more chances, as he is after all a striker. Anyway good thing we won. very happy about that.

RED CARD FOR RAMOS!!! What a ridiculous decision by the ref! The young defender was hacked down by Kapsis, fell to the ground, then jumped up in rage, maybe, just maybe, stroking his opponent on the leg on his way up. What happens? Kapsis falls to the ground in a bundle, and the ref proffers a straight red!! Bizarre... And scandalous.

Always wanted to say that the problem in Madrid is the finishing stage of attack, they just can't score. I think the whole problem is coz they always want to score or pass skilfully, coz they r proffesionals, but the key to success is efectivness and simplicity in da game, for instance Chelsea, very simple form of playing. Also a lil bit clumsy, the way they recieve the ball. That is IMO

Here u find the importance of the phenomena "RONALDO"

Ronaldo15

Man this game makes me wish Ronaldo was there to conver those many chances we've created. He would had a hatrick. :)

Good win nontthless..

Man of the match - David Beckham

honorable mentions - Robinho, yes he did play great but his finishing still lacking! he needs to improve on that and if he had just one goal last night, he would had been man of the match IMO.

Yes, it was not for a red card. That player Okkas is a prick, he have cheated the referees many times and made them give red cards to the opponets (One was in the game with us :mad2: ).

That player was not Kapsis. His name is Okkas and he is Cypriot. He did the same thing in the Greek derby Olympiacos-Panathinaikos.
Personally I don't like him and I don't want him to play in Olympiacos.
Kapsis would never did such a thing.

Anyway congratulations for the victory. See you at Olympiacos Karaiskaki stadium on December.
