Agreed, the name are too amateurish. They have to be simple. Oh well, hopefully the league continues to prosper...

Or Melbourne Getting Slaughtered   No, that's not what I mean. I'm not one of those Victorians who dislikes Adelaide. It's a great palce to retire and I like visiting my rellies who live in.....????.....the Greek Area.....what's it called.....?????.....Unley.
If I were to name the teams they'd be:
Adelaide Country Bumpkins
Central Coast Where
Melbourne City
New Zealand Farmers
Newcastle Bogans
Perth Outsticks
Queensland Rednecks
Sydney Sisters
:D joking peoples...

 Not too bad...
And yeah Unley has some really nice Greek restaurants, Zoe's for instance. My last coach owns it :silly: Some useless information...
This is what should have happened. All the clubs were named by the city then have SC or FC added on and then have nicknames associated with them. So Queensland FC would be "The Roar", and Central Coast SC would be "The Mariners". It would have been better, cause the American amatuerish names are annoying. Too late now i guess.

What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. -William Shakespeare...Shit, I'm quoting Shakespeare in a soccer forum....hmmmm...better go to bed.

And I live on the Central Coast!!!!! Give us a break, we deserve a national league team from any sport. Rugby League wouldnt give it to us (bloody Gold Coast has ANOTHER attempt to have a rugby league team), but football has given us our chance AND WE ARE SUCCEEDING!!!!!!!!! World Club Championship playoffs Runner Up, Pre Season Champions, and currently 2nd on the A-League table!!!!!!!
