Money i mean, Arsenal FC set up an amazing outfit, playing the best football britain has ever seen, pretty much set up owning the premiership for the forseen future and along comes a big russian c*nt with loads of money n ruins it all lol - Has all of Arsenes work at Arsenal been wasted by the hands of a russian billionaire? opinions?

Yes.
After we won the league 01/02 Vieira said "Liverpool dominated the 80's, Man U dominated the 90's, and I think Arsenal will dominate for the next 10 years".
And I have to say, I agreed with him. Until Roman Abramovich came along, spent £200 million on players, and now Chelsea will dominate for the next 10 years.
They don't play particularly good foottball, but they nick goals, and keep clean sheets.

Not really, to be honest. I don't think that Arsenal were necessarily set up for a long-term run of unassailable success. I think they were - and are - in line for a solid run at the top of the Premiership. And as for the Chelsea situation, thats life. The unexpected happens. The thing that makes this sport - any sport, really - interesting is that anything can happen. Injuries, age, bad form, or just plain bad luck can make the most unbeatable team vulnerable.

well as much as I hate Chelsea, I think Arsenal put themselves out of the run a little too, mainly by selling their best midfielder, and best player alongside Henry, Vieira.

Somethign tells me that it would have been better keeping a talented French duo like Henry in front and Vieira behind him.

But anyways, Arsenal did have their chance 2 seasons ago where they were unbeatned in 50 games, but things like that don't happen for 10 years unless you keep your team solid like ManUtd and Liverpool did. But it's not too late to change.

Arsenal barely has any English players, maybe that's why they were so successful in the EPL, but not in the Champion's league?

I just think Wenger has to make some decent signings.
No way can we win the Premiership with this squad.
