They can do it. Kahn has atleast another year of solid keeping in him, Lucio and Ismael have the potential to be rock solid, Bayern's mid is deeper than Chelsea's, and Makaay's form in the last few months could earn him the title of most inform striker in the world.

Depends on a lot of things....
1) Fitness of main players during end of season. many players will not want to take risk, as a world cup is comming up.
2) At the winter break, if we are comfortable in the bundesliga, more players can be rested, just to perform in the CL.
But yes, this season, we'r surely one of the top contenders.

Well to be honest I don't think they have any chance at all! In fact, I don't think anybody would be able to beat Chelsea, but I would be glad if Bayern does it;)

nevermind, i thought you meant bayer. But i agree. Chelsea has its flaws. particularly the flanks

I think they can if their star players remain healthy which didnt happen last year once in the knockout stage. And like was said above if they are way out infront of the rest of the Bundesliga(which looks like it could be likely) it would make it easier for them to ease through the league and focus on the CL.
