Solskjaer suffers new injury blow
Solskjaer's career statistics
Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suffered a new setback in his bid to recover from a knee injury.
The 32-year-old Norwegian last played for United in the FA Cup Final win against Millwall in May 2004.
Swedish knee specialist Lars Petersson said: "He has picked up a tear inside his knee. It is a very recent injury."
Petersson operated on Solskjaer last year, and added: "I thought he might be back in October but it is impossible to set a date now."
And asked whether he was totally confident Solskjaer will come back at all at the top-level, Petersson added: "No. I am never 100% sure in these cases."
A spokesperson for Manchester United said the club would not comment on the report.

I dont think, Solskjaer would start if he was playing. He didnt start even during his prime days, he was always a second striker to sheringham yorke or yorke cole partnership. He would be the sub. And being a super sub was his speciality. I still cannot forget or forgive that goal in Nou Camp in 1999. It will be in my memory for ever. :mad2:
But, cant deny his knack for scoring late goals when it mattered the most. I remeber one seaosn, Man Utd were trailling to Nottingham Forest 1-0 and solskjaer was brought on the field with 10 minutes left to play and he score 4 times. Thats the type of player he was. Man Utd could still use his services.
