Under 16's Junior Girls Soccer
Illawarra Junior Soccer - Injustice and Standover tactics.

Under 16 Girls playing the final, 1-1 at half time (great game so far), 20 min into the second half Club A now have 2 goals - Club B (1 goal). Club B have an extra player on the field, Club B draw it to the refs attention. Player removed from field (no card given), game restarted (yes restarted) from half time, ref takes the score back to 1-1. (cancelling Club A goal!!!!). Therefore stripping the non-offending team of 1 goal. Club B score 25min into second half winning the game.

Club A were told by Ref and Game Officials that they could lodge an official appeal at the end of the game.

Club A lodged an official appeal (with cheque) and thought that the appeal would have been heard as a priority early on in the week by Illawarra Soccer (Tuesday at the latest). Illawarra Soccer left it until Friday afternoon (after 5pm) to notify the club that they refused to hear the appeal and the decision stands, and returned the cheque. Leaving it too late to appeal to NSW soccer, who had previously stated that they would not hear the appeal until Illawarra Soccer had heard it.

Laws and Bi-Laws have been checked by Club and Solicitor and the ref got it wrong.

They then fined Club A for threatening to speak to the media (nothing has been published at this stage), and threatened them with further fines and removing them from Junior Soccer if they went to the media.

Talk about, injustice, corruption and standover tactics in Illawarra Junior Soccer. What right do they have not even to hear the appeal and to try and silence players and parents? So much for freedom of speech! How do they justify penalising the non-offending team that was winning at the time?

Illawarra Junior Soccer - Corruption.

Yours sincerely
Disgusted with Illawarra Junior Soccer.
