Wes Brown does not belong at Man Utd.

He would be better off at a mid table premier league team or a newly promoted team.

He looks very Mediocre.

But if you do sell him...................dont buy Pascal Cygan............youll be back at square one again.

refering to his temper and saying he should be forced to tone down, its bad for the game because he is a rolemodel for the next generation.

You guys want Fergie to sell Rooney? and Van der Saar?

The players I feel Man Utd should sell, and get some decent replacements for- Wes Brown, Mikael Silvestre, Quinton Fortune.

sell? with all the damn injury's they need to buy players. Fergie has a great starting 11, until they get injured. no depth on the team. dont know why he just didnt buy a defender or 2 during the summer..

wes brown has been plague with injuries over the last few years... i see him as a partner for rio.. but his concentration has always been a question mark for me, hopefully the more he plays the less this will be a problem !!!

with the glazers around, i think it shouldn't be a problem though.

Now abt the thread, i think Man U should sell john O'Shea. Was nice to see him nutmeg a few famous players as a defender and also that delicate chipped goal but i think there's alot of quality that he's missing to be a good defender and speed is definitely one of them....

Lance Knight
11-17-2005, 01:54 PM
i think chivu would be a great buy, but yea he would cost about 10-15mil, but it doesnt seem that glazer really is shelling out any money, i remember reading somewhere he gave fergie 6mil, and the way they made it sound was like it was alot, lol

yeah i agree.. his days as a united player are slowly tickin away...where is the john oshea that burst onto the scene ???
with all the injuries, hes gettin his chance to make a good impression but he hasn't taken it....

yeah, but i also understand that he's only 23 yrs old and to be pressured in front of a theatre of dreams might be just too much. I feel bad to suggest this guy out of the team. Maybe a loan out should do the job. Of course to be loaned out to bigger clubs with an option of not being able to play against us.....

Fergie should let Tim howard go... yeah he did made a good impact upon his arrival but i think he has been overrated. i understood that he let an very very silly goal in 1 of the reserve games. The opposing goalkeeper let fly a lob from his penalty box, the ball went bouncing a few times and bad judgement from Tim, it bounced into goal!

Perhaps, Howard should go and try his career elsewhere.(reminds me of poor Ricardo). And Ben Foster should be made 2nd choice as well as understudy to VDS...

van der saar is doing great but imo i will stick with howard as number 2 ....foster has a couple of years 2 go yet

King_Eric
12-08-2005, 03:21 AM
foster might have a few years yet to go buddy but if you look at big clubs such as real Madrid and barca, everybody can actually say that they have the team in a pair of good young hands. I reckon these 2 clubs dun even have to worry abt their goalkeeper dept for the next ten yrs coz both Valdes
and iker are only around 20! and how did that happened? they were given exposures at the highest level at a very young age...
i admit that we're current safe in VDS's hands but what after that? we have suffered for quite some years now after Peter left and i think it took us 6 yrs to find someone with the consistency of VDS. i sure hope we wont have to wait another 6 yrs to get someone as good as VDS or peter. So, get foster back in the squad and start piling experience on him ASAP. (just my opinion :)
:)

Get rid of them all. They all suck. Played 6 games and each game is 0:0 or 1:0, so boring, remainds me of Roma. Chelsea is much better, Go Drogba. Man. Unt. Suck big time. Roonie :red-card:

great response, NOT
a red card for u, lol

anyway, yes Van Dar has been seriously conistant, and has really held the goal great, howard was a flop, just like a couple of other players on the squad, the thing with ManU, is that thier players are either great of complete flops,

but on the sub GK issuse u guys should be looking for a young prospect, and play him is sure win games or perhpas in the domestic cup and stuff.
cause at real for the Copa Del Rey we start alot of youngsters, it is a good thing to train

Man Utd id in a tough position. They have arrogant young players who can't seem mature enough to show some respect and sportsmanship. And even their old playrs have an attitude.

If I'd own ManUtd, to be honest I would sell them all, with that much money I could buy any damn player I wanted. :)

But first these young arrogant players must regain prestige within the club before any decent player will come here.

well, he just proved you rite, didn't he becks? i thought he done well against Wigan.
The quick assist pass for Rooney's second goal was superb. A little bit delayed and i think Rooney would have been ruled offside. He's improving on releasing others to have a strike at goal. Well done.

we ought to be getting rid of you for giving disrespectful comments abt our beloved manager Sir Alex!

Now back to the thread... i think fortune's days as a United player is numbered. Dun think he'll be able to give competition to Park, Giggs or Cristiano. Probably he might be able to compete for a left back berth together with O'Shea and Richardson while Heinze is out...
