Yep they have signed Shanghai Shenhua's Du Wei.He his now Gordon Strachan's 2nd Asian signing,good luck!

will he be starting? I only know Sun Ji Hai, and IMO he's easily the best Chinese player right now, he really stood out during international games

Du Wei is the Former Youth NT and U-23 NT captain,the best center defender of China, But he was badly injured last season and missed AC 2004 and some WCQ matchs
