who was last years serie a player of the year?

i predict this year will be adriano. your thoughts?

I would say that for last season it was probably Cannavaro as he completely revitalised Juventus' defence and was one of the decisive factors in their Scudetto triumph.

He and Buffon were world class last season, top notch.

I like Zambrotta, but I can't bring myself to pick just ONE player that I thought was most influential.
