Here is a country that boasts such great players. I'm surprised they didn't do better in the world cup. Gallardo was just named player of the year in France, and the rest of the team is so strong. So many of my favourite players are Argentines. Veron, Simeone, Almeyda, Batistuta, Lopez. I expect big things from them come WC2002.

Yeah, Argentina is such a great team. They have so many stars, and I also expected them to do better in the World Cup (as if they did bad!). They played great, and I thought they would defeat Holland. However, Bergkamp's superb goal shot down their self-esteem, as did Ortega's head butt. :D
