Ihtijarevic & Duro how good are they?

Does anyone here know something about those two? Are they any good? I only know that they played for Sarajevo/Željeznièar and that they are in the BIH NT. They will play for NK Maribor for the rest of the season.

Duro played together with Alen Skoro (Olimpija) and hi is young, quick, smart....

Ihtijarevic is good player too.
I think Maribor mad a good business.

Im afraid thats not true...
Duro is everything but not smart ! If hes smart than im MASTERMIND ! He has some perspective but he is not a good choice for team who wants to play in CL !!!
He will be good for BH League in couple of years, and he will never be good enough for CL. To all Maribor fans:
you'll see him, he is man of mistakes. He costed us euro quals this year (he scored autogoal in key game). Im so happy he is out of my team !

And Ihtijarevic !? hahahahahaha

He moved one year ago to Zeljeznicar because he wasnt good enough to play in FCS (AND THIS IS TRUE) !!!

One of our newspapers said that Ihtijareviæ has a nickname in BIH- "pakleni igraè", because he has good technical skills and rules in the miedfield.
Are they both in the NT? Do they play or just warm the bench?

They are best prospects on the northern hemisphere, Faruk Ihtijarevic will be better than Ronaldo and Batistuta is kid if we compare him to Duro :) :) :) :)

Salihamidzic never played in Primorje, he just WANTED to play in their football camp in first year of Bosnian war. But, like i say, you have some very good scouts - they dont wanted him to play for Primorje. I wonder what are they think now ?

I watch them(Duro, Iht.) on winter turnament and they ain`t bad! OK, there was just one big kicks made by Duro. He come in front of oposit goalkeeper in Rivaldo`s style and make oposit team like fools...and then he mised empty goal from 1,5m!!! But otherwise I think they are good purchase! :D :D :D

All that I know is in Cime's record his name ends with è (Slovenian surname) and Rako's with æ (could be Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian...).But I think he is at least half-slovenian (his mother being Slovenian as in most of times). I have Cime for a pure Slovenian. He was born in LJ, lives in LJ, has a Slovenian mother, speaks Slovenian.

BTW: Did seka tell you the joke when some punks found our u-18 NT in Belgrade? Well they were so frightened, and nobody knew (or didn't want to, cause he was proud to be Slovenian) said 'Pustite nas, mi smo fudbal' :D

The biggest succes of a Slovenian club was achieved by Nk Maribor when they qualified to Champions League. They beat Genk and Lyon in qualifications, especially the 2 games against Lyon were brilliant. Maribor won both games, 0-1 in Lyon and 2-0 at home. That was in 1999/2000. Mb played in the group with Lazio, Bayer and Dinamo Kiev and they had 4 points after the first part. They beat Dinamo in Kiev and draw with Bayer in Leverkusen. This year Maribor screwed up the European season, but Olimpija played very well (they beat Espanyol 2-1 at home).
I think that our league isn't so bad, but the biggest problem is very poor infrastructure, we don't have a single stadium where we could play international games without any shame. The best stadium in Slovenia is Ljudski vrt in Maribor for 10.000 people. Only 3 stadiums have floodlights and 2 or 3 have a decent pitch. There aren't many spectators in 1.SNL, I think the average is something over 1000 people per game.
The financial situation of our clubs is also poor, Maribor is the only one with money and its budget is around 5 mio. DEM.
Players from Slovenian league don't sell well in Europe, the record holds Maribor when they sold Amir Kariè to Ipswich for 2,2 mio. Dem this year.
If I compare Slo. league to Croatian, Austrian and Hungarian, I'd say we end up in 4th place. (BTW, Hungarian government invested 8 mio. $ in their club football this year).

Maybe im overreacting in Duro and Ihtijarevic case (lets call them D&I :)). As i told you, i dont like Duro because he is so incostintent, one game he plays good - another game he scores autogoal from 20 meters (euroAUTOgoal).
And Ihtijarevic is really not so good most of the time.
Regarding Bosnian league, its anti-game league. League of 22 clubs !? Like bosnia have 100 Millions of citizens...
Quality is low, attendences low (except for greater clubs like FCS, Zeljeznicar, Celik...)
Only good thing is stadiums, we are in so much better situation than you guys ! Olympic stadium KOSEVO have 45.000 all seater, magnetic cards on all gates (i have member card and my seat - with my name on it very soon)!
Zeljeznicar have 22.000 under roof, Celik 26.000 veeeery beautifull stadium (English-like), Velez 18.000, etc...
But the best thing in our league is some details about my team (FC Sarajevo). We have very young and talented team, we have few more very talented young players (Skorolike and even better). Two regular first team strikers are 19 and 20 years old, Right attacking middlefielder 19 years old HUUUGE talent, Goalkeeper 20 years old... Real FUTURE TEAM !
I hope they will not behave like Skoro asshol*e :)

the fact is that you dont have rich football history BUT YOU MAKE ONE RIGHT NOW. In past few years you did some great job, really great. In Bosnia, maybe that will sound patetic, football is way of thinking. Our only mistake thru the history was been that we always tryed to SELL all good things we have, to make some nice FAST money. We are doing same thing now. All good players are migrating to the west. Thats just sad. Infrastructure is by pre-shitfull time, when FCS, Zeljo, Velez, Celik, Sloboda meant something. Only Sarajevo have some initiative to break from that, to make some kind of team for europe. But like you know, money runs the world... So, in fact, YOU are so much in head of us !!!
