I think the best keeper is Peter Schmeical. Man U lost a lot in his going to Sporting Lisbon.

i don't think that much of seamen anymore. i think he should be on the bench for arsenal and england. Barthez is a good goalkeeper but he takes a lot of risks and sometimes gets himself in trouble. and as for the great dane, he was one of the best goal keepers of all time but he has lost a bit over the years. i love the man to death for what he did for united but i have to be honest, he isn't the same keeper he was 3 years ago. he has gotten some injuries that have hurt him and his age is catching up to him also.

Yeah, I agree with you on Schmeical. He is still a pretty good goal keeper, but is getting worse and worse gradually because of his injuries and his age.

I agree about Seaman. He's lost a lot in the past couple of years. He's getting old, and I think that this should be his last season. Manninger should take over the duties for the Gunners. As for Schmeical, GB's comments I agree with. His injuries have hurt him, and he's not at his prime. However, he is still a great keeper.

Have to agree with most choices so far!

My tip for the top in the future is...Dean Kiely of the Mighty Reds (Charlton Athletic) He's been an important part of our success story this year, i think its 19 clean sheets so far. He also played for Ireland in Turkey-Euro 2000 play off- & did well to keep a clean sheet over there.

Definitely! He's been fantastic for Verona. I wonder if he would play had Inter not loaned him out. Probably not, so I'm glad he's at Verona.

but vd Sar is the best keeper on this planet. Followed by, I think, Chilavert.
But the best keeper in the dutch competition is Dudek!

Yeah, I agree with you Grobar, Chilavert is a great keeper, and is a great freekick and penalty taker. There aren't many keepers that are good at everything.

truly the best keeper right now is Jose Luis Chilavert. paraguayan international and valsez sarfield keeper, he takes free kicks and penalties and has the most goals scored by a keeper right now so he is the best right now. in wc 98 cus if him they got to where they got he is the team captain so he is the best keeper.
