that movie was different from the book. it was altered and stuff that happened in the book didn't happen in the movie and stuff that happened in the movie didn't happen in the book. but it was still the same idea. i've read and watched the movie for an assignment.

yeahh, but this was a test and the questions were much more in detail which the movie did not go into and the theme of the book and movie are also different

Very much a deserving Pulitzer Prize winner, in my opinion. Are you reading it for an English class in a country whose official language is not English?

I don't often seem to have enough of an attention span to get through all the books I have, but I'm currently trying to read "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" a book that gives an account of European settlers' westward expansion in the U.S. through the NATIVE AMERICANS' eyes! It's quite fascinating, and quite tragic, all at once.

its a really thick book about architecture during the 1920's. its a story bout a guy who got kicked out of school, and he eventually starts an architecture school. it has some symbolism about the government, and how it tries to rationalize everyone to a normal, and such that the slightly un normal is shunned/frowned upon. Pretty good actually.
