when we've picked our players we'll do our formation but for now we can discuss whats your tactics gonna be.

my tactics are counter attacking football, not totally mourinho style but it'll be a mixture of capello too. more defending then attacking but when we go up theres no way we cannot score:smoking:

Simeoni will play the Makelele role and right now I'm not sure if I take another full back and play4-4-2 or a central defender and stick with that. Considering the players I have though I don't think it's that bad. I love my 2 strikers though...

tried to show that Panucci and Georgatos have arrows to DM positions (attacking wingers) just like Roberto Carlos is for Brazil NT, and Okan with Karagounis cover wings too a bit, while Corso routes MC to AMC positions, and has almost total freedom of movement.

:lol: Once again I don't agree with ya..... for me it's the other way, when you have a 4 man defense (2 CB) , the fullbacks must be very solid defenders to protect the sides, but in a 3 man defence they can have a bit more of freedom to attack. R. Carlos the best fullback?, he's a lot better attacking than defending, if Real played with a 3-5-2 it'd be perfect for R Carlos, this way he'd attack more and be more protected in the back, but they play with a 4-4-2 and that's one of the reasons Real defense had a lot of troubles every year.....

Of course, I know VDM is not good defending but he can do his bit there, I read somewhere he's played in that position before. In fact I know some teams that play with a 3-5-2 in which their fullbacks are not so good defending, but attack very well..... for example.... Mexico in the world cup 2002, Jesus Arellano was the right fullback and trust me when I tell you that VDM is a better defender than him :lol:..... he is a winger that can also play as a forward, but he was used as a fullback in a 3-5-2, and still Italy, Croatia and Ecuador had a lot of trouble to break the defence......

The important thing is to have the team well organized.... I mean, if the team is attacking from the right flank with VDM, Paul Ince can move a bit to the right to protect there, and the same with Mandorlini and things like that.... My original plan was to buy J Zanetti or Ze Maria but someone anticipated me.... :boo: :p

Your criticism is very useful to know what you think about other teams, and I agree that my 4-4-2 looks more solid..... but I still think that 3-5-2 can work well and I know many teams that prove that. ;)

Many teams, for example, Mexico in 2002 as I said before, with Arellano RW and Ramon Morales LW playings as fullbacks, in Chivas Rafael Medina, in the NT Jimmy Lozano, and so on....
