Which do you think are the cockiest players in soccer? There are many, but I would have to say Owen is one of them. Every time he scores a goal, he celebrates for about 15 minutes.

There is nothing wrong with celebration, but here is what Pippo does..

Scenario

- Zidane gets rid of some players, makes a run, passes to DP.
- DP shows us a magic move and sets up a splendid chance to Inzaghi infront of the open net.
- Inzaghi fires in (as if it is hard to score, even my small bro can do what pippo does)..
- GOOOOAAAAAL SUPERPIPPO

Until now there is nothing wrong..

- SuperPippo celebrates like crazy and alone as if he scored a Maradona-86 goal.. Forgets Del Piero, Forgets ZZ, forgets Davids.. The latter players must run to him to congrat. him, he never appluads them..

Now is that the cockiest player or what ?

Hehe :) True senario Juve fan! Well, Michael Owen isn't really cocky, he's just a bit overrated (actually not just a bit in my opinion!). But that's not what makes a cocky player. Again, nice example Juve Fan.

Well I usually think of English soccer when I think of cocky players because most of the goals it seems are tap-ins, and the celebration for it is crazy.

By the way, I'm not trying to offend English soccer fans, because I'm one myself (of the Arsenal Gunners who are in the UEFA Cup final-YEAH! :)). It's just my opinion.

It is true Juve Fan, and I remember when Del Piero was about to tap in the ball to score , Inzaghi jumped in and got himself a goal and celebrated like he scored the winning goal in over time in a world cup, it was crazy and Del Piero was going crazy, I could almost see him crying, and the same thing like 20 minutes late, Inzaghi steals a ball from Del Piero, and scores again and celebrates like an idiot, I hate Inzaghi.

Not only that, remember last Italy X Portugal ??? Iuliano scored a goal but Inzaghi started running as if he scored and everyone thought the goal belonged to Inzaghi, poor Iuliano couldnt do anything to a professional goal stealer like pippo. However replays showed that Iuliano deserved it.. Hate him...

Cocky means arrogant, stuck up, a guy who thinks he's better than everyone else.

I think Nesta is starting to become pretty cocky. He's speaking out of turn a lot lately. He needs to remember he's still young, and there's a pecking order in Italian football, and he's nowhere near the top.
