Mihaijlovic gone at end of season!!

Well looks like the big wigs at lazio have had enough with the "contreversiality" of the guy and are set to trade him at the end of the season. So I guess in a way I was kind of right a long time ago when on this site I said he was overated. Lets face in the world of sport if someones a star and irreplaceable to the team , I dont think that a bit of contreversy would signify a dismissal or trade. Could Lazio be using his "contreversial" attitudes as a smoke screen and excuse to get rid of him realyzing that they could still get something decent for him before all of see,s that he really is not that good of a player? Hmm I dont know but something smells fishy in Rome.

With all honesty, I feel sorry for Mihajlovic, who has gone through more criticism than any other soccer player in the world in the past few months. He is accused of everything, and is always the villan. He deserves a lot more respect than that.

How did i know I was going to get a response from you?!?,And its always the same thing, if he,s not that good than how come he,s at Lazio? Well I will tell you why, hype is hype, get it!! Just like Ronaldo was going to be the next Pele or Ortega the next Maradona, most players now a days come with such high levels of hype that they just dont or cant live up too. Mihajlovic is such a player, face it his defending is very poor, his forward distribution dire, his awareness is at times completely missing. Aboput the only thing he can do is take corners and the odd good free kick. Now this is my opinion, wich I have a right too, I cant see why you or anyone else should take it so personaly!! Besides if he is that great why is Lazio going to dump him like a sack of potatos? That was my original question and intent in the first place, was it not!?! Anyways, hope theres no hard feelings here as I do have a lot of respect for other Serbian players, just not him, I think hes really not that good!

i agree with grobar and the others, the only reason why he is on any good team is because of his abilities to hit a dead ball. it is a good thing for him that he is surounded by so much talent because the players around him are able to make up for almost all of his mistakes. but i have heard the same thing about lazio getting rid of him at the years end and i don't blame them, they can and should do much better.

nobody is talking about currently, we are refering to how he has played over the last couple years. i can only talk about the last 3 season's because before then i didn't pay any attention to him but his poor play has brought him to my attention. and lets not forget this isn't just a lazio thing, he was horrible in euro 2000 as well. and lets not get started on mijatovic, that is another discussion all together.

I thought you watch Seria A? If you did, and saw any Lazio highlights you would have seen the unusually large number of own goals...Not to mention all the plays where he got beat and his man scored...
