Buffon: We Have No Weak Points

The number one shot-stopper is confident about this Juve team.
Gianluigi Buffon feels that the Bianconeri can achieve a lot, even more than last season which ended triumphantly with the conquest of the 28th Scudetto.

“We are more aware of our strength. In the first week of summer camp, the warmth of the Juventus public was exceptional. We won back the people with the last Scudetto win and now the atmosphere is different; we feel them closer to us than last season. I was impressed by the incredible enthusiasm of our fans in the last two home matches; I would like that it was always that way."

Buffon also gave his opinion about the latest Juve arrival: Patrick Vieira.

“We saw with how much confidence he arrived. He showed the tranquillity of the strong. Speaking in general, apart from Vieira, who is a great player, we have strengthened all our lines. I cannot find a single weakness in this Juve side.”

Of course we have reason to be confident, look at us, the only thing that can come now is more success. Our Defence is stronger, our mid is stronger and we have more options upfront.

I still think we need a good attacking mid though.

i think confidence is exactly what this juve team needs i mean it was a lack of confidence that has seen juve flop in europe in the last 10 years (2 long a time to have last won a european cup)!!!! i think with the likes of legrottaglie, Andrea Masiello and chiellini the defense have youth on their side!!! as do the midfield with blasi, Ceglie and Brighi adding to the average age of 28 to the juve squad! but to be honest juve NEED cassano now to compete with milan who have just signed Gilardino(and vieri)!!! cassano, del piero, trezeguet, mutu, ibrahimovic those forwards would boss the serie a as well as europe!!!

true davor, but just a replacement for pavel, we can wait until next season for that though!!

...sure JUVE have weaknesses...it's the bench you dont have too many quality players on the bench like INTER and MILAN...which will make the two competitiones a litlle bit impossible to conquer...but CAPELLO is the best coach in the world im sure he'll go after the C.LEAGUE this time and leave the SCUDETTO for INTER...:silly:...
...and the right back...KOVAC isnt a great player if KOVAC plays as a cental back that will replace THURAM on the right back...but then you'd have a weak central defense....and ZEBINA is a mess...JUVE need ODDO...he's not that expensive and i know that CAPELLO is a big admirer of ODDO....only then JUVE will be complete

Kovac is a great player, Henry couldnt get passed him, neither could Zidane, his man marking skills are unsurpassed.

well i think i like elcino's idea of bringing oddo to juve. aside from that i think we're complete for this season at least, but we do have to look towards the future

There was talk that he will return to wing position, but I thought the left side as Camoranesi is already on the right, and he has done more than just a good job!
