Some of Portugal's best players are suspended till next February for their actions after their game against France....and the WC qualifications start in October (I believe).
That's sad and trully unfortunate.

I happen to like Portugal (and Figo).

I heard about this. They did complain a lot after the game, quite a lot. I didn't see the game, but the replay showed it to be a good call for handball, at least the way I see it.

Too bad to go out on such a sour note.

Well for World cup qualifing we beat Holland 2-0 in Holland, we tied Ireland, and we beat some other country and we are sitting on top of our group and all without Nuno Gomes, Paul Bento, Abel Xavier.
