I just saw Lig TV's news and they said that Fenerbahce bought a Left midfielder called Moldando or something from Brazilian team Cruzeiro
I saw his clips of goals from his past game and i must say, he looks really good. He is a Chile international i think.

But i looked on the Fenerbahce sites, and they say nothing.

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

FACT 1: Cruzeiro officail website said so and here is the article:
Chilean Maldonado is going to change Cruzeiro's shirt for Fenerbahce's and might arrive at Turkey in the next days. The negotiation between the Turkish club and the midfielder started right after the end of that country championship , and had the direct influence of Alex , idol of the Turkish fans. As Maldonado has his contract signed until the end of the year, Fenerbahce will have to indemnify Cruzeiro in about 1,3 million of euros (R$ 3,67 million).

The player dreamed about playing in Real Madrid , where his former-father-in-law , the coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo is. But the agreement was not possible because he doesn't have an european ancestry and, thus, he would not become a communitarian player. The Blue Team directors say they still didn't receive an official communicate from the Turks, but sources from Maldonado guarantee that everything is all set and the money will arrive for Cruzeiro's safes this week. FACT 2: This is actually is not a fact, more of a clue. There was a media conferance with Nobre and it was in the Fenerbahce's website. Even the headline of the article was "Moldando is a great player"... Here is the article:

Well, Moldando's rumour I think is true but there was a news this week saying Daum didnt want him because he might not be good enough for CL so he wanted someone more experienced in CL. So I just saw today that Fenerbahce is agreed terms with Appiah from Juventus. As you all know this rumour was around a while but I think it end up being correct news. Appiah I think is the new transfer! All Italian newspapers are saying that he is transfering to Fenerbahce and some Turkish turkish newspapers as well!

Yeap he did. Juventus told the media that he was sold to Fenerbahce for 8mil Euro. I dont know somehow Im not that excited about this transfer. I would prefer Moldando because I think he has more advantage then him. He knows Alex, Nobre and Luciano. They played in the same team before. Only their referance is enough for me. by the they also say Moldando still has a chance to transfer but I dont understand why? Why would they transfer 2 same type player, especially 2 foriegn players. Anyway here is the Appiah's info:

I think the links between us and Maldando isn't true anymore. Because we have to buy a defender now not another midfielder.

I used to know Appiah from Parma, i used to watch some of his games on Football Italia which was on channel 4 years ago. He is really good, i am very happy he will be signing for us. He is just the kind of player we need.

Anyway about that Galatasaray thing, i heard that too and nearly pissed myself from laughing. Just goes to show how much Fatih Terim knows about players. :D

He is expected to be in Istanbul on Thursday or Friday. He will go through a health check and he will sign a contract. After that he will go to Germant for the training camp.
