anyone know what the record is for the highest scoring match? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere a match a long time ago that was in the 50- 60s, and it would have been higher but the goals had not nets and they were on a hill, so they had to chase the bals. It may not have been an actual league match though....

In an official national match New Zealand pumped Fiji 13-0 in 1981 in a WC qualifier. The next year they went to the 1982 WC in Spain.

I don't know of any league match because there was aleays controversy i.e people getting sent off, crowd riots, corrupt ref.

I know the fastest goal ever was at Sydney Croatia vs Adelaide City in the NSL in 1994 ( i think). The whistle blew, Croatia's keeper was off the goal line & day dreaming about something & Adelaide's striker took a massive kick and lobbed the ball over his head - from the halfway line !!! - & scored. It was about 3 seconds. :D

In 2005 english lowest (not premiere lol ) league one team beated another 20:0 and one guy scored 16 !!!! goals in this game
But i think all this results in buying matches.. like 31:0... nobody can do it
