Does anyone actually thing Ygor is funny?

I for one don't think the user Ygor is very funny. He brings up old threads, pretends to be Russian on the internet, has stupid jokes, and is plain annoying. I know he's doing this to be funny (why he wants people on the internet to think he is funny I have no idea) which leads me to wonder... Does anyone actually think he is funny?

He makes me chuckle every now and then. Everytime I read his posts, I imagine that its in the accent of the Russian guy on those Smirnoff commercials, that has him with the razburry festival, and the dog sled, and all that stuff. Some how when I think of that guy saying everything he writes, its all funnier.

don't know the guy. From what i read in this post, its obvious he is playing the stereotypical eastern european drunk. The thing i like about it is, that aside from the accent which is funny in itself when protraying a russian man speaking, or better - the stereotypical russian person, you can see his awareness of the english language from the writing, and also the way he exagerates the person that 'is-not-really' making sense.
But like i said, this is only from what i read right now. I know i have seen one or two of his posts before with a quick eye and i do remember doubting that he was russian. Now i have no doubt that he is pretending. The only way you can consider this to be funny, is envisioning the "russian drunk". I guess i would rate him high on impersenation of how eastern europeans, try to speak english by constructing the speech in their foreign grammar. Leaving aside...the drunk part, or the part where he talks without making any connections (im not writing "write" to serve its purpose, so its still "talk"). Considering that, and the fact that he is not bothering me, i do see where the humor comes from, and there ain't no harm done even if he is doing it to the least - the least, entertain himself.

It's not a big secret that he is pretending. Chances are that somone who really writes like that, wouldn't be posting in a soccer forum to begin with.

This thread is pointless. It is only going to cause new problems or further old ones. Everyone has their opinion on him, and whether it is "he is funny" or "he is annoying," it is still that person's opinion. Respect it and move on.
