Which did you think were the surprises in last year's Confederation's Cup? Not many people expected Mexico to beat Brazil in the final, but Brazil didn't have it's top squad (I don't know about Mexico), and Mexico just played better.

What surprised me most is the U.S.A.'s performance. I didn't think they could beat the Saudi Arabians, which they did, and rewardingly got 3rd place in the tournament.

I have to say that New Zealand really supprised me in that cup. Yeah, they lost all three games, but they werent thrased like Australia were in the last cup(lost 6-0 to Brazil). We were beaten by Brazil and Germany 2-0, and lost to the US by a single goal :)

Also, I think the NZ goalkeeper, Michal Utting, was one of the players of the tournoment, he is the main one resonsible for NZ not getting hammerd by 5 form the three tough teams in our group.

Who gave you that idea Omar ? Well if the Suadi Arabians get smacked 8-2 by Brazil, what do you expect ? It was really expected as soccer in USA is advancing...

Soccer in USA is advancing, but you shouldn't underestimate Saudi Arabia. They're a great squad.
