London won, I felt sorry for the French, they started crying, because they were the favourites.

I'm glad the French didn't win. I visited Paris latley and it smelled of urine (at least where our hotel was) and it seemed kinda dirty. Plus the people were kinda rude and seemed a lil stuck up. Besides the people and dirtyness (which I guess every big city has) it was alright. It had really cool views and stuff. Too bad for them. I'm sure London will do fine. Say I forgot, who's got the 2008 games?

ya.. Paris has hosted more than its share of events in the recent years.. I was hoping Moscow or Madrid got the games.

At least Paris already has some of the facilities. London has to build virtually everything from scratch, and the UK does not have a good recent track record (e.g. the millenium dome, Wembley Stadium).
