adriano-gilardino partnership?

just cos adriano-bobo didn't work it doesn't mean adriano-gilardino wont work and adriano is not similar to gilardino, adriano can dribble pass create drop-back etc. but he doesn't want to cos he wants to get on the score sheet too

True, the first choice partnership was always Mutu and Adriano and Mutu was very rarely injured. So apart from a few sub appearances I don't think they were given a fair chance to show their understanding of eachother's games. Also, it has to be said that both players have developed enormously since Adriano's days with Parma. I think the partnership will work for sure, but I still have doubts about its necessity. I am 50-50 which means I won't end up dissapointed either way :silly: .

I have my doubts because both are what I call "penalty box dominators" so they could get into each other's way. But Gila is very athletic and quite mobile for a big forward, so maybe those subtleties will distinguish them apart

that`s what Im talking about.. when was the last time Recoba and Adriano have given a chance to play togther, I rememerb it was last season against Juve in the cup, and they were beautiful, but still we dont get that they could be the most beautiful Partnership if they given the chance to play togther for a long time.

and that`s why they havent given a chance, and we were mistaken when playing Oba and Adriano toghter too, I didnt remember they get in a great form togther, passing the ball to eachother, cause they step in eachother ways. :stop:

2nd league Recoba was benched for no reason!!, we lost by penalties and the gay lost the last ball, Miccoli put the last penalty easily. I wonder what would happened if Recoba was playing in this game instead of the Gay.
