If i needed a schedule, say to get ready for ODP tryouts, how long should it be? Can anyone list their own training routines so that i may incorporate a part of it into my own?

Uh, I don't know if this helps, but I stretch my legs and arms before all excercising stuff. I also have a pretty big back yard, (100 or 200 somthin feet) and every day I go out and start from one side and dribble with just the insides of both of my feet for 2 laps. (back and forth, back and forth) Then I do the same except with the outsides of my feet. Next, I do inside-outside-inside-outside with just my right foot. Same for left. (almost done, now the following drills are with NO ball) Then I do 2 more laps of high knee skips and then 2 laps of heel-to-butt runs. And finally, I just do 1 lap of sprinting as fast as I can back and forth. <--BEGINNING EXCERCISE

Then after all that, I do 500 side-to-side dribbles standing still. Next, I practice all my 1-on-1 moves. (Maradona, Rainbow, Elastico etc.) Then I juggle for 10 minutes. Next, I practice shots from different places in my yard at a wall. (I do close up lace shots, and far out instep/lace shots)

Finally, after all of that, I end the day doing my Beginning Excercise. (not to brag or anything, but when I feel that I'm not doing so well or my juggling/tricks are OFF, I usually do 100 side-to-sides and continue where I left off. (so I actually do about 1000 side-to-sides a day) :D :D :D

Oh, forgot to mention, I'm 12 and live in the US. And I know that most of you are 14+ and live in Europe. So, you might wanna do double what I do...

I have a training program but it's far too long to post and it's an off-season preparation type thing. It may be too long for you depending on when your ODP tryouts are. As per most training schedules, it progresses into a heavier workload as time goes on and every 3rd week is a "rest" (lowered workload) week.
The first few phases include 2 weekly scrimmages at a high pace (can be small sided games (SSGs) or full field), speed/agility training, aerobic training, and strength training. For example; it could be Mondays - speed/agility, lowerbody strength, and an easy aerobic work. Tuesdays - Upperbody strength and a medium aerobic workout. Wednesdays - scrimmage. Thursdays - Off. Friday - Full body weight workout and a scrimmage. Saturday - Hard aerobic workout. Sunday - Off. Of course, you can vary that up as you please, that's just an example.

Also, obviously, make sure you have a good warmup (try to make it dynamic as opposed to static), and a good warmdown (cooldown, etc).

This is just a wee bit off topic, but what ODP thing are you trying out for?
(state team or preparing for Regional Camp) What region are you in too?

Sorry for the off-hand reply. :(
