trick by henry

I have a question. There is this trick(I think by Henry) where you place your foot over the ball, then bring you heel down towards the front to create frontspin. Then you sorta ride it up your heel and flick it over your head. (I THINK) Is that actually a trick? If so, how is it done?

lol... that is a very easy trick, and don't say it's by Henry because anyne can do that if you play soccer.

You have to step on it with the back of your heel (if with cleats) catch it on the back two cleats and roll it all the way until the back of your heel, then press it down on the ground. It took me along time to learn this, just like Ronaldinho's taking the ball and rolling it against my opposite foot then back-heeling it to where you want it.


BTW, when it hits your heel, make sure you lean forward with that leg so it kinda rolls up.

Lol, didn't you get that Ronaldinho move where he rolls it up his leg and hits it away with his heel from the movie clips you sent? I've tried that, except that I can hardly get it up my leg and when I hit it with my heel, it just rolls on the ground.

It's not really hard once you get the feel for the ball.

Yea I did, and I'm glad to know somebody acually watched that movie...I thought it had some pretty good stuff, but they coulda had some better stuff, like Beckham's mid-field shot, or Ronaldinho's chest-to-heel trick I love.

BTW in minute 2:35 where Ronaldinho is just standing there and the defender is like jumping at him, anyone know where I can get a video of JUST that? Or somehow they can edit it?

Yea me to, I have it saved under one of my movie folders (along with 100s of other soccer vids) but its become one of my favorite now. And just alittle question, in minute 1:38 what is he doing? I can not figure that out, but it looks sweet.

He like pushes the ball with the instep of his left foot behind his right heel, and then immediately does the same except with his right foot and takes off. I hope this is what you meant when you didn't know what it was...

I mean I've been trying to do it, but I just always hit it to hard on my first instep, to hit it again. Sorry! I don't know its name. But it kinda surprised me when you said that you're having trouble doing the move. (it still took me a while before I got it perfect... ok, ok, maybe not 10 out of 10...) I just practiced hitting the ball past my right heel (until I was satified) and then I did the same with my left.

Are you suppose to drag the ball past your other foot, or do you kick behind it then kick it back? Because I've been trying to drag it and it ain't working.
