Holding, grabing etc....

I just rencently started playing soccer and i am unsure of some of the rules regarding contact that is allowed between players. I have seen players grab and hold before but iI would like to know the specifics before I play in a real game. Any links would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

You're aren't allowed to hold, grab, etc. and can be booked if you are caught. Players do it to gain some sort of "advantage" but I don't advocate cheating at all.

yea that ish is bogus, and a lot of players will try to play it off behind the refs back. in the end they never get away with it.

plus i'm so fast they can't hold me. (hehe)

I get close to guys and hold the jerseys, and when they make a run at goal it only takes a quick jerk to throw them off, and then I run infront of them and knock it out.
