No one knows what the heck is going on here.
We just have to wait and see.

Panathinaikos board and Conceisao himself say that he has agreed with PAO and he will soon go to Athens. But he was supposed to come 2 or 3 weeks ago and we are still waiting. Some sources say that he wants to take some remaining fee from Galatasaray before he comes that's why he is late.

But I saw Turkish newspapers these days are writing that he will stay at Galata... Nobody knows as Olisadebe13 said. We are waiting...

I have seen Conceisao playing only a few times, when he was at Real. I don't have a complete opinion about him, so I should ask you the same thing :D - what do you think of him? You must have seen him playing a lot of times.

yea i think he's a good, quick, technically strong player for his age...it would be a shame to lose him but on most Gala forums we're looking forward to signing Federico Insua from Independiente and we need an extra spot for foreign player cuz of the rule in Turkish league
peace

I remember Flavio since he was at Deportivo La Coruna.
He is a great player.
In my opinion one of the best defensive midfielders.
I don't know how he did at Galatasaray though.

Oh man are you going to sign Federico Insúa;
Holy sh!t I'm so jealous of you...

Have you heard Australian player Aloisi is going to PAO. He made a good appearance at the Confeds Cup and scored many goals. He also scored for Osasuna in the Spanish Cup final, even though they lost.
Aloisi is very talented and experienced at 29yo. I think he'll do well at PAO...

This thing with Greek teams signing old players that are past they're prime with just recognizable names, is getting old.

I don't think PAO should do it, as Conseicao is past his prime.

it's the same thing w /Turkish clubs man...it's cuz by the time we say we're interested in a player, the Madrids, Juves, Man Utds, Arsenals and Chelseas of the world have already offered over $10 mil for them ;)

He is not coming to PAO, he already belongs to PAO :D. Konstantinou is leaving and we bought an extra striker.

I have seen Aloisi in the Confederations cup and in Spanish cup final and I liked him. I hope he does well for us.

I agree with you, and I believe the big Greek teams must count on youngsters. But I also thing that a team must have 2 or 3 players of recognizable value, even old (like Rivaldo or Conseicao). The deal is not so that they will give the team many things, but that will be very good for the rest of the team. The Greek 20 year old player with not many experience, will feel different if a player like Conseicao plays with him.

Panathinaikos signed young Mantzios and Tziolis, two good young players, and players from the PAO under20s team came to the first team. Like Kririkos, Oxyzoglou, Bousinakis etc. Now I believe we need one or two big names so the morale of these youngsters can be affected to better a lot. The same happened with Panathinaikos some years ago. Vardionogiannis brought only 3 known players: Rocha, Saravakos and Zajec. The rest of them were youngsters and their performance (and the whole team's performance) was exciting in the season. A reason of this was the presence of the 3 players I mentioned.

He is in Athens now but something happened. I saw in news that he had health check-up and they found some problems in his feet so we don't know how the transfer will continue. Panathinaikos board has not made an anouncement yet.

Aloisi's contract cancelled because of the problems in his feet the medical check found. We have bad luck this year in transfers :grumpy: . We are still waiting for Conceisao...

I'm really tired with all this Conceicao thing.
F*ck him.
I prefer Bernardi anyway.

Conceisao is in Athens, since yesterday 2 o clock in the night.

Today or tomorrow he will have the medical test, sign contract with Panathinaikos and then he will fly to Italy, where Panathinaikos are training now, to be added in the team.

I hope so we need strong teams in Greece so I am happy with this signing. Dont forget i really dont care about anything else except Greek teams getting points this year where it counts; EUROPE. I believe we fell to 9th place in europe after being 6th 3 years ago...

I think he did ok in Galatasaray. I dont think he has a bad carrer as Lance said. He is very experienced player and I think he'll help a lot to Pana.
