I don't want to bore you guys forever so I'll make this kinda short I hope.
Ever since this tourny I had, I was so hyped to try and play pro. I practiced EVERYDAY for 2 hours. (juggling, dribbling, tricks, curving... not to mention all my soccer practices for 2 1/2 hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) But afterwards, I've lost hope. I didn't play as well at all. I thought that I would skool everyone with all my new moves, my new skills, everything. And I DID!!! The End... WRONG!!! We did place 2nd in the tourny (out of 4  ) but THEY skooled me... kinda. I felt kinda better that I pumped up the courage to try an attempted Maradona and a Bicycle Kick. But of course, I messed up. BACK TO THE STORY-->Anyways, I would also shove and stick out my elbows. (i never would before) Basically, to sum it all up, my game was OFF. (there are a zillion more things i could list...) But, when I just read U.S.A. soccer's thread on trying to go pro, I'm feeling better. I have 3 camps I'm going to this year, (british soccer camp, a college camp, and a camp taught by a guy who has lead this college to many titles and he also played for scotland pro :D) Sooooo... any "bring-me-to-life" replies would be appreciated.

You praciticed all that much and you didn't see ANY improvement? I think you should have alteast seen SOME...But in the game, you said that your game was off. A few things you can do to get in your game is tell yourself that "YOU ARE UNTOUCHABLE" and nobody's gona get the ball from you, and you sound dedicated so you will do good. But listen to some music or something to get "krunk" before a game. And one thing confused me I thought that I would skool everyone with all my new moves, my new skills, everything. And I DID!!! The End... WRONG!!! you said you did and that you were wrong.
But if you need something to get you in the mood to get out and play watch this movie right here...Its about 3 minutes long! It is GREAT, and gets me out and doing tricks everytime.

I don't know what to say to make ya feel better. I was in a scoring slump for a few matches until today when I FINALLY got out of it (yay :D!). But I have a reason, or at least I think it is. I know someone who just passed away recently (last week), great guy, extremely nice, very good soccer player. It was just extremely shocking and unexpected. After hearing about how he just passed on suddenly it's made me look at things differently. Not to take things for granted and actually realize that the saying "live life to the fullest" makes ALOT more sense than I had initially thought. I just keep thinking now that this game might be my last... infact, you never know if it is or isn't. So I dunno, it's changed my attitude. I don't know if that'll help you one bit, but it sure has affected me.

Oh, sorry SaberWolf. I was just pretending to have my story end that way. (kinda part of my "humor" hahaha???) Anyways, that thing you said Rema, was probably the most amazing post that would make anyone play their lives out. (i had the same concept going to except i got it from a band's song) And back to SaberWolf; can you do those? I was just wondering, how about this: Can ANYBODY do those moves that come here? If so, please speak out and give us a nice speech on how long it took to have such ball control and what gave you the inspiration? etc. :D
Thanks for the replies guys... oh and you too Rema.

From which movie?
Movie 1- the first 10 seconds is just a touzani with left and right foot (I can do with right foot, not left) then after that its just a touzani and him grabbing it with his heel/butt (I've never tried but I'm sure its do-able). AFTER that, his between the legs thing is awesome, I can't figure out HOW he does it, it always hits me in the nads. It took me about 2 months to learn how to do a Touzani (a week for the Around the World then the rest of it to do the step-over and all). But those ground moves he does are pretty sweet, and I can't get them down in that order.
Movie 2- I love all of that stuff, and its all do-able, just you gotta have confidence you can do it. I've done very LITTLE of that stuff in a game, but a few step overs, and rainbows I have done.

I'm sorry Sabey, but you could you explain that Movie 1 part more clearly? And what is a Touzani???
Touzani is a person... basically one of the first freestylers around i'd say (or at least, one of the first to get videos out on the net). He has a trademark move, the "Touzani" or "Touzani Around the World" - which is basically an around the world and crossover put together.
Saber... any way you can describe that in great detail? I have the around the world well and crossover, but i CAN'T combine them at all.

Rema explained pretty well what the Touzani was, and if you still wanta know, there is a movie below.
But, I was just saying that that guy could do a Touzani, with both his feet, and I could only do it with my right (like the guy in the video). I mean you know how people say when you learn the Around the World, your step-over increases 10 fold? Well you learn the Touzani and your entire TRICK-skill will increase 10 fold...

           LOL... I didn't even know that doing Around the World increases your step-over. (does it matter if you catch it in the end, cuz I just start juggling again)

I don't think it matters if you catch it or not, just that you can DO it. I mean think about it, its basically the same thing but one in the air and one on the ground.
It makes it alittle quicker, smoother, and more natural.
