It takes alot of practise and you have to get a feel for the ball in order to understand how to move your whole body while kicking the ball.
I can't really explain it, but you basically hit under the ball in a 45 degree angle and put pressure so that it spins forward making it go up and then down veyr fast.... I hope that helps a bit...
But the best thing to do is target practise.

yeah, very hard to explain.
Have u played tennis b4?
The idea is your trying to slice over the ball in order to make the ball spin forward, right? But the problem is you gotta get in the air. So, its all about starting from beneath and getting enough air but also enough over spin.
The best thing is to practice kicking in various ways and see what produces the best results, then try and replicate that. Muscle memory is important.
Going with the whole slice thing (since that was a great description of it  ), I find it easier to slice it if you drive your knee up when you connect with the ball. It is really hard to explain but if you can find someone who knows how, get them to teach you. Even if you see some random person you don't know doing it in the park or whatever, get them to teach you.
