Newly-promoted Alaves are lining up a move for Brazilian midfielder Wesley.
The 24-year-old plays for Portuguese minnows Penafiel and enjoyed a hugely impressive season last term.
He netted a total of 14 goals coming from midfield as Penafiel finished 11th in the top-flight.
However, the Portuguese outfit do not actually own his rights and Alaves have already struck a deal with Brazilian side Espirito Santo and agent Alcidies Dias who both part-own the player.
Wesley is expected in Spain on Wednesday for a medical and should then put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.
