I feel really good about the coming season. the league is down to 16 teams, and the following year we will be down to the target number of 14. this, along with the strengthening of most teams, is going to work wonders. right now... olympiakos is getting incredibly strong (too strong...), and aek and panathinaikos look like they will both be stronger than last season. iraklis looks like he will be a contender, and big trouble, as well as ofi as always. i am concerned about paok though. i hope we have fierce competition, and i think almost every team will be hard to beat at their homes. for that reason, we need more teams from outside of athens, because honestly, we have an unfair advantage when we go off to play athinaikos down the street, as opposed to going to giannina (who by the way, have an incredible home crowd!!). lets hope this is a close one, because remember, strong home league means stronger teams in europe. i think we are finally getting seriously competitive... what do you think?
