okay i know the topic is uncalled for but i wanted to get your attention.
i see so many players that are more physical than they should be. i mean really pushing people away from the ball. i'm about to get seriously physical on the field and man handle some people to take the ball. i'm such a good defender, i can always stay in front of players, i just can't ever steel the ball. i always step to but they somehow get the ball off quick enough. i'm gunna just try stepping to them and giving them a body check. straight up. unless something else works better...

I look at it this way...
Its not my job to say whats right and wrong on the field, its the refs.
I do what I want to until the refs tells me otherwise. I use to care about hurting people because I use to be concerned about the future of what there soccer career may be...But when you see an entire team gang up on ONE man because they know he is the best, and has a soccer scholarship, to end up breaking his leg, I realized that people don't care if they hurt you so why should you care about them.
I see every play as getting the ball under any circumstances, if they get in my way, they will be getting OUT of my way by either force or their own will, but they have there choice.

Its funny u shud bring up this topic now, yesterday I had an incident... the other team's star player tackled me, I quickly tackled him back but somehow it bounced off one of my team-mates back into my path. I saw my moment and jumped in, two footed, studs up (but the main point,) going for the ball. And I got the ball and also went straight through him. He got up 2 say sumthin but found he couldnt stand 2 well hehe. Neway, I actually felt pretty bad, coz as a player, I only ever go for the ball but, by any means necessary. So it just happened that i set up our 4th goal the next play. I didnt celebrate, I went n said sorry to him. But he turned it down, '***k off', I was heaps pissed. Coz I think every player has to keep it on the field... so ended up yellin bak at him...
I mean, as a player I proli cop the most fouls each game, but RARELY do I get angry... coz its part of it, in fact if some1 had done that same tackle to me I'd have congratulated them...

I don't have "anger" I have something very weird that only happens to me on the soccer field, I guess you could call it a "Passion For Revenge" I mean if I see one guy getting away with WAY to many tackles and things like that, I feel almost OBLIGATED to take him down a peg, and its not just if someone tackles me, its anyone on my team.
Dizzee, I like your kind of player...I usually help my guy up after I tackle him, unless its like an important play and I just jump.

yeah...usually my mood depend on the otherside's reaction too. how they play is how i play.
a strong tackle always the safer than if u chicken out.

ahah yeah, I definitely have that passion for revenge... One thing I HATE is when a team-mate cops a yellow or red for retaliation. Its sooo much better to either get that same yellow or red or - even better - nothing but giving a free-kick away, five minutes later by snapping the player.
And I agree, my mood definitely depends on the other team's approach. If they're going to complain and play unsportingly then I'm not gonna help them off the ground, I'm gonna tell em to stay there. But if they're good guys, its all fun.
"a strong tackle always the safer than if u chicken out", so true! Never dangle a leg in a tackle, get the whole body behind it.
