i was playing tonite, and i think i pulled something on the back of my thigh. it feels like someone punched me really hard in the back of the leg and my leg is all knotted up. Anything i can do to fix this for tomorrow nights game?

If it is really tight you may have pulled your hamstring. If thats the case you have to stretch it out. Do a few stretches every 30 min. and ice it a couple of times. I believe if you put heat on it, it will tighten up more.
Just do basic stretches like
1-feet together and touch your toes
2-cross your feet ""
3-spread your legs ""
Do that and you should at least be able to run about 80% by tomorrow. If its not bad you might be able to run full. But just stretch.

Tell me how it goes. And then you should thank me. Best of luck.

Sure u've pulled it? Doesnt that cause excruciating pain?
U sure its not just a dead leg? I'm really not sure but coz I've never had 1.
But yeah icing it 15 mins on/off 4 the 1st 48 hrs is important. and get a REALLY good warm-up going before the game, and get some heat cream on it.
this is proli too late ;)

Depends on the degree of the strain/pull - some last maybe a few days/week, others months.
As Dizzee said though, for the first 2 days do the icing. After that you can use heat as it increases circulation to the area and helps it heal quicker.

that happened to me at my game a couple of days ago. all you gotta do is stretch like everybody says, and take it easy. it'll probaly go away overnite. if not, then stretch more and don't excersize too much.

i may have been kneed in the back of the thigh. this player was gunnin' for me, and i turned my back. i'll be honest, i can't remember. that, or it was from running hard early in the game. i think it was from running. cause it didn't feel like a knot, it felt real sore when i ran. it's been two days, and it's gone. :)
