Well under 20s lost to China in the world championship group stage in Holland.
Whats going on, they even had 4-5 players brought up from the U17s.

Well, this happens a lot for Turkiye. Our U17's are great then when they go into U20's they start to loose their dicipline. As you see we will even loose against China which is a total shock! You know how Turkish teenagers are. We always loose our dicipline around that age and think about them. They names are in the newspapers and they start think they are the shit. That way they concantrate. We have to have dicipline first in our under age teams!

Even though they lost 2-1, Turkiye played very well. They had all the ball possesion in the second half. They have some brilliant players and they all played well. It's just that they can't concentrate sometimes.

CImbom has the best youth team by far. Cafercan(on loan at Rize), Arda, Mulayim, Mehmet Guven and Oguz Sabankay(chosen for the -21 national team) are regulars in the -19 team, alonngside Ugur who is as you all know a regular in the A'team of Galatasaray. Most of the 1989(-17) team is masde up of Galatasaray players. Harun Temur and Irfan Basaran( who's still 15) stand out as Turkey's best players in the -17's. Aydin Yilmaz, Serdar Kesci are also quite good Galatasaray players in the -17 team that finished fourth in Peru. Zafer Sakar is also a product of the youth team.
Other good youth players include Volkan Babacan of LengerBahce, who's 17 but played for the Olympic national team in the Mediterranean games and performed well. Nuri is a regular at Dortmund, and Caner Erkin(who's one of the stars of the Peru 2005 tournament) played against Galatasaray last week for Vestel Manisaspor. Tevfik Kose is the star of Leverkusen's -21 team. A player that really caught my attention, though, is Aydin Yilmaz, who I've mentioned previously. He's extremely fast and good at dribbling. Potentially one of the best wingers in Europe.

He got a pass from Odonkor, did a half turn with his back to his mark-man, and shot in the bottom corner with his left foot. Great goal.
