What will be the result if any if i play with soft ground cleats on firm to hard ground? Anyone ever done this. I see a lot of pro's only play with studs.

soft grounds arent meant to be used on soft ground.. hard ground studs on hardground pitches....

soft ground is where the pitch is quite middy n wet n very well maintained...
hard ground is where the ground is quite hard but still grassy, on very dry conditions...

the reason y u see pros use it is cos they play on good pitches which are well maintained n watered so the ground is very moist... if u were to use a soft ground on a hardground pitch ull hav no grip n slip. plus the studs will wear out more quickly n possibly yur sole mite feel painful from the studs.

they do make soft ground n hard ground boots for a purpose
