The older soccer trick threads are too too long so I'm making a new one... just to help out.
Plus, I was gonna ask you guys what you think is the most effective soccer trick. I came up with one (I hope it isn't already invented and named) that always has worked for me:
The Gaul Fake - You are 1-on-1 against a defender. First, you move your right foot around the ball in a backwards scissors, (Rivelino, outside to inside) except that you stop half-way. (so your right foot is infront of the ball) Then, the defender thinks that you are going to YOUR left. But, then you kick the ball with the inside of your left foot out from behind your right foot. (just move your left foot to the right and "push" it so then the ball is now on your right) Finally, take off with the ball and score.
To make this fake work, don't do a spin after you kick the ball with your left foot. I know that this is an awkward foot positioning, but to make the fake work at its best, just quickly take the time to reposition yourself for you to take off.
