The left side I was a little worried about.But now Georgatos just took that away!

But really Yianni,

Do u think it was a smart move for him?

I mean to leave a big Club like INTER.He was voted in the top 5 best of SERIE A.And to come back to Olympiakos it just doesn't make sense.But the joy of him coming back overwelmes everything!!!!!!!!!!

Chris, I had the same thoughts as well. He left Serie A which is a serious league to return to Greece. Olympiakos has built a strong team with quality players but the Greek league as a whole is not that strong - yet.

I saw Georgatos on the Antenna news last night when he arrived in Athens. There were people everywhere. Grigori said that he is happy to be back at Olympiakos. It`s great to have him back and no doubt he will play even better football. He will still mix it with quality players and will have the challenge during CL.

I tell you Chris when I saw him on tv last night I yelled..yeia sou Grigori..

I guess Grigori had to come home.I mean he clearly could have stayed,and had a starting spot.But thats the kind of Superstar u want on your team.The kind like Georgatos!! He loves OSFP and will play to the death!

We have so much depth Chris, we have to sit quality players on the bench. We have to remember that we are going to get some injuries though the year so this will open up more opportunities. Last season was a perfect example, because players that had little chance of playing were actually starting. Where do you fit them all. Karataidis, I guess should be on the park but he won`t be playing full games. Antzas will play an important role.

Chris I also heard that Olympiakos are pressing for the turkish player Alpay. He is supposed to be a great defender.

You are right about the depth.It's a very good thing to have.Thats why we won the Championship last year.DEPTH! and PAO don't have it! And I think Zetterberg should come on as a sub to prove himself fisrt.We have to play the best players,and make them fight for the spots.Nothing is a given (Except Georgatos,Mavrogenidis,Eleftheropoulos,Giovanni and Ze Elias).The rst have to fight for a spot! That makes them play harder.


PS About that Turk,he signed with Fenerbache....

You are right man, every player will have to fight for his spot. Unlike last season when we were scraping for an endekada. The big boys now will have to prove themselves and stop thinking that they will be starting each week. It aint that easy now. They will train even harder for selection. I would like to see Tziortzopoulos coming through as well. I was watching a game from last season where he started. He was fantastic. Given the chance he will go a long way with Olympiakos.

Chris, I will follow through on our discussion from Phantis on this crazy idea. I would really like to meet all the guys. Imagine the huge party we would have. It would be awesome. You said you were going to Greece next year. I am planning to go as well. However I have to put in for holidays for next year so tell me when you can go so I can work around that. If this happens man, it`ll be something that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I hope Red Devil can make it as well. We could go and see Olympiakos. It will be great to arrange the soccer carnival but I don`t think we will get the numbers. We can just arrange some matches, but we will have to get KA to find us a proper field.

Hehehehe...Chris, you have no idea how I would love to see Olympiakos in a CL game.

I think we are planning it around the quarter/semis so we have to wait for the groups to be finalised and we can go from there. I hope we get to the semis, either way we will get to see some games together.
