Who the hell is Gerets? And why does Galatasaray not bring up the youth? [Archive]

We have very good young players. They are no where to be found. Who the hell is Gerets? Does anyone speak Flemmish or French or German or whatever the Belgian speak on the team? I am very dissapointed with GS decision here. If he loses a couple games mark my words they will tell him "yallah" and fire him. THis is very dissapointing. This is just remarkable. First Trabizon gets in the CL and now I have to go through this.

as I am from Belgium I might help you guys with some info about Gerets. He was a Belgium national player and had his biggest succes playing with PSV. As a trainer he started in Belgium where he won the championship with Liers, who was e really small club, and with Bruges. Afterwards he went to PSV where he also won the title and was very respected.

He is known for his discipline and hard work. But his most important quality is that he stand sreally close to the players. He knows how to handle star players and he knows how to motivate them. He will always support his players. He has a lot of charisma. A couple of years ago PSV played Bayern Muncih for the CL. The fans of PSV charged the pitch and the players ran away to the dressingrooms. Gerets not, he went to the fans and asked them to go back to their places. He got a lot of respect for that. He did not run away. In Germany he coached Wolfsburg and in the first half of the season they were the leaders of the championship what no one had expected. Later on they fell back.

Gerets has a really great reputation as a coach, he will be champion of Turkey with Gala, he will earn respect and he will always defend his players and his team. He has a lot of charisma and he will demand a lot of the players on training. But they will play nice and attacking soccer. I am convinced that Gerets is the ideal coach to be in the hell of Galatasaray! You will like him!
