Hey, one of my favorite moves is the rainbow kick. I'm not really good at it but if you but the inside of your right foot (i'm a righty) up against the ball and your heel of your left foot on the ball, just roll it up your heel and flick it over your head.
KEY TIP :: keep the ball centered with your heel.

Here are some of your basic soccer moves...They have descriptions and videos! (http://www.strongsoccer.com/Kingdrills/clipspractice.htm#Scissors)
AND...
Here are some ways to get around your opponent. They aren't "tricks" but they help out and you'll understand when you see it. (http://wiki.ehow.com/Dribble-a-Soccer-Ball-Past-an-Opponent)

i rainbowed a guy in a game and he was so pissed afterwards. first i did a step-over to the right, and then when my foot came back around, it went behind the ball (my back is now facing the defender) and i just tried a rainbow cuz i couldn't think of anything else and my team was winnin by quite a lot, so lifted the ball and it went rite over him. and i just turned and ran, but i made the mistake of passing it off and the guy i passed it to lost the ball. my point is rainbows do come in handy.

Just while we're on the subject, I was playing around with my soccer ball the other day, and I did a reverse rainbow, I guess you could call it. It looks really cool.
Normally you (if you are Right-Dominant) take your left-heel infront the ball, and right-side behind the ball. But this you take the ball and put it infront of you. Then take the side of your foot and put behind the ball, and the heel of your right infront the ball. Then roll the ball onto your left and flick it up.
Its like a rainbow, but instead of going from behind you to infront it goes infront to behind (or I just went straight to a chest-stall).

I don't think I understand.
Does the ball go forward over the defender or what???????
Please clarify.

Oh no, I haven't formed it into a move yet, its just a juggling start-er-up...But I guess you could do something with it, I'll put some thought into it.

Oh I think i know what you mean now, but I don't think you could use it as a rainbow because your sort of off balance when you do it. Making it hard to flip it up high enough and to run to get it as it land (if you can flip it high enough first).

Off balance? I just jumped up when I did it, and it came up to about my chest level.

i still think you are going to be a little bit off balance because you have to move your feet quickly and sometimes balance can be thrown off a little after you flip the ball.

Oh I do alot of "flying moves" (moves where both your feet are off the ground) and I have really quick feet. Like a good way to test this is to put the ball about 3 inches infront of your off foot, then put your dominant foot on-top the ball, then roll the ball back onto your off foot and jump, and see if you can hit with your dominant foot.
