I think we will be in a great position. Carew is an incredible player, but he wasn't that great for us. He will be way better in France (and is already proving it with something like 6 goals in 4 games). However, when you consider that the money from his transfer allowed us to get Ailton, Kleberson, Youla and Ali Tandogan...it was a no brainer.

Ailton scored in his first game today, and I hear Kleberson played well too.

This year it's going to be Besiktas vs Fenerbahce for the championship race. That's of course, once Fenerbahce gets up on their feet again. I have faith that they will, we'll see what happens at Riza. As for Besiktas they've really strengthened their team, and I see them as the only contenders of Fenerbahce for the title. It's going to be fun, nonetheless. Trabzonspor might as well make a suprise, and fight against these two. But Fenerbahce needs to wake up, and once they do the league will get fun.

There's apsolutely no way Galatasaray will be able to keep up to Fenerbahce for remaining weeks. They have way too many injuries, and Umit Karan has closed the season due to his injury. You will be playing without your best player for the remaining of the season, he saved so many games for you guys. GS will have to depend on young Ayhan and Necati, but them both combined aren't as good as Umit. Basically, Galatasaray is screwed.


I mean come on, Galatasaray barely won against Denizlispor 2-1. That's because Bulent of Denizlispor scored an own goal, they wouldn't even win it. And I should remind you that Fenerbahce won 6-2 against Denizlispor. That's a big big difference between the current number 1 and number 2 in Turkish Super League.

Just watch the own goal they scored, there wasn't even a goal opportunity..

Because when they play against Fenerbahce, I don't want to see Fenerbahce play as if they're doing a training session. Believe me though, that is what is happening. I'm kind of sad and happy that Umit Karan got injured, because he was the only player that I feared in Galatasaray and now that he's out, I don't fear Galatasaray. And not just outside of Turkey, but in Turkey as well, they are against their own. If you only knew what Turkish media does to mess up one of their teams. It's outragious. They have been attacking Christoph Daum, Fenerbahces coach--who's won 2 league titles and likely to get a third consecutive one this season, during all of the time he's spent at Fenerbahce. They do anything to send any team in a revision. Luckily, our president, has muted the media and is still keeping him. I mean they've done so much up untill now, even some Fener fans think he should be sacked. The sport writers, the analyzers, football talk shows, it's as if they're all working together. I don't know how Daum lives through ONE day listening to all that shit.

BJK tied which kept them in 4th and Kayersi who also tied in third. Trabzon lost today which hurt their chances of qualifying for a european competition next year
